Board Book Printing FAQ
What makes board books different from regular children's books?
Board books are printed on thick, rigid cardboard stock (typically 1mm to 2mm chipboard) laminated with printed paper on both sides. Pages are rounded at the corners for safety. This construction makes them virtually indestructible for young children.
Do your board books meet child safety standards?
Yes. All our board books are printed with non-toxic inks and materials that meet CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) and EN71 safety standards. We can provide certificates of compliance upon request.
What is the typical page count for a board book?
Most board books range from 8 to 24 pages (4 to 12 leaves). Due to the thickness of the pages, even a short book has a satisfying, chunky feel. We can accommodate different page counts depending on your content needs.
